London is a major financial hub of the world as such, one of the well connected travelling destination. Almost all nooks and corners of the globe are connected to the London's four major international airports (Heathrow, City, Stansted and Gatwick) and more than a dozen adjacent airports.
Heathrow Airport
Rail - The Heathrow Express is the quickest way to central London from the airport. Trains to London Paddington run regularly between 0500 and 2330, take 15-20 mins, and cost £13 for a single ticket.
Tube - Heathrow is also connected to central London by the Tube's Piccadilly Line, which is inexpensive, costing £3.80 for a single ticket into Zone 1. Trains arrive and depart every few mins from around 0500 to 2300, and the journey from Heathrow to Piccadilly Circus takes about 50 mins.
Coach - National Express runs frequent coach services between Heathrow airport and Victoria Coach Station, and the journey takes around 50 mins to 1 hour. Some services stop en route in Hammersmith or Earl's Court. A standard single ticket costs £10.
Bus - At night, the N9 bus runs every 30 mins to Trafalgar Square in Central London.

London City Airport
Bus - The airport is served by a shuttle bus transporting customers to Tube, bus and rail connections: Canning Town (5 mins), Canary Wharf (10 mins) or Liverpool Street (30 mins). Buy tickets either from the driver on the bus or from machines at shuttle bus stops.
Car - Driving from London City Airport to central London takes approximately 32 mins.
Gatwick Airport
Rail - The fastest way into central London is on the Gatwick Express, which runs regularly from London Victoria between 0435 and 0135. The journey takes 30 mins, and a single ticket costs £12.
Thameslink trains connect Gatwick with London Bridge, Blackfriars and King's Cross, with regular trains taking approximately 40 mins and costing £9.80 for a standard adult single.
Coach - National Express runs hourly coach services between Gatwick airport and Victoria Coach Station, and the journey time is one hour 30 mins. Some services stop en route in Mitcham or Streatham. Standard tickets cost £10 single or £15 return.
Car - Driving from Gatwick Airport to central London takes approximately 55 mins.
Stansted Airport
Rail - The fastest way from Stansted airport to Liverpool Street Station in central London is on the Stansted Express, which runs a regular daily service between 0600 and 2359. The journey takes 41 mins, and a single ticket costs £13.80.
Coach - National Express operates a 24 hour service from Stansted to Victoria Coach Station, stopping at Golder's Green, Finchley Road Underground station, St John's Wood, Marylebone, Baker Street, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner. The journey takes on hour and 40 mins, with a single ticket costing £10.
Car - Driving from Stansted Airport to central London takes approximately 1 hour.
Luton Airport
Rail - Regular Thameslink services connect Luton with King's Cross, Farringdon, London Bridge and Blackfriars in central London. A journey takes 30-40 mins, with a standard single fare costing £9.50. A frequent shuttle bus links the airport to Luton Airport Parkway rail station in around 8 mins.
Bus - For bus travellers, the Greenline 757 goes to Victoria Coach Station with stops at Brent Cross, Finchley Road Station, Baker Street and Marble Arch. The journey takes 1 hour 10 min, and a single ticket is £8.50. Regular services run from 0300 until 0000 daily.
Car - Driving from Luton Airport to central London takes approximately 49 mins.
London is easily accessible from South and South-Eastern ports such as Dover , Folkestone, Harwich, Ramsgate and Newhaven, where there are regular ferry services for passengers and vehicles. Ferries aren't the only option. Cars, coaches and freight can also use Eurotunnel, which connects Folkestone and London in a 35-minute journey via the Channel Tunnel.
