We at LSBC strive to make sure that the new coming International Students get comfortable and affordable accommodation facilities, once they arrive in the UK.

The student's accommodation is a vital part of their college life; socially and academically so it is important to make the right decisions about how and where they are going to live. The LSBC staffs are on-hand from the moment you apply and right throughout your studies to ensure you have a roof over your head, till you finish your studies in the UK.

The LSBC accommodation bureau (LSBC/AB), which is one of the units of the colleges Student's Welfare wing, arranges accommodation for our students, on their request. LSBC arranges two forms of accommodations for students;

Accommodation with a host family
Private accommodation arranged through letting agents

Accommodation with a host family

The college can reserve accommodation with a host family within a reasonable Travelling distance from the college. The weekly rent for this type of accommodation may range from 95 to 105 per week for a single room or 40 to 70 for a sharing accommodation, most probably with another student.

LSBC keeps a list of reputable registered host families, so that the students have a wide range of accommodation choices for the full duration of their academic life.

Private accommodation arranged through letting agents

LSBC has entered into formal contracts with reputable letting agents with considerable experience and knowledge about the locality, for arranging the student accommodations. Then again the accommodation can be either single rooms or shared accommodations.

Request for accommodation The procedure

For accommodation to be arranged by the college, students must follow through the following procedure and submit the following at least a few weeks before the accommodation is required.

Complete and submit the accommodation reservation form which can be downloaded from our web site. Pay a deposit of 400, as one months rent deposit. This amount will be set against as the first four weeks rent. Any excess amount above the actual rent will be refunded. The college does not charge any fee for these services.
